Finally -

I have time to write a real post. Despite the fact that only one person commented on the last one *sniffs*. Thank you, Q. I appreciate your patronage. No pregunteme escribir esto en Espanol. ugh. The lack of accent marks is bothering me, so I'll not write on Spanish until I find those.

I'm going to be updating my blog roll (or creating it, actually), so please let me know if something doesn't work or if I left you off.

So. I'm going to a wedding rehearsal tonight. The guy getting married is the cross-country coach at a local university. My family has known him for eight years. He's in his forties and has never been married (say "awww!"). I'm so excited for him.

Any notable wedding moments you've had? Participated in any? I'm sure most of you haven't been the bride or groom yet.

I use Google Reader, so I don't tend to comment.

The only wedding I've been to was my grandmother's remarriage like two years ago, I think it was. Nothing really notable about it.

I've walked down the aisle once. Her name was Hillary. (say awwwww) We were ring bearer and flower girl. LOL. I was five, and I got to walk down the aisle carrying the little white box at my aunt's wedding.

When my cousin got married, I got to hand out birdseed.

Other aunt's and uncle's weddings were not condoned by family moral standards so we didn't go to them.

I use Reader too, so I only comment when I have something to say. Oh, and for accents, try writing something in a word processing program first and then copying it in. If you write a post in Spanish, I will. Or at least, I'll try. I'm not sure what I'll say...

Can I be on your blogroll?

My cousin is getting married soon! I am so happy for her. I've been to two weddings (and many more receptions)--one for a good friend of the family, and one when my grandmother was remarrying (Ha. what a coincidence, Anilee.)

I was an usher at my uncle's wedding many years ago, but no one was letting us escort them to their seats. Maybe it had something to do with our wedding lingo.

"Are you a friend of the bride or the broom?"

Eventually we blocked the door so no one could get in without us taking them.

I've been a bridesmaid at a friend of mine's wedding.
Loved it loved it! (Though I either looked strangely cross-eyed or had my eyes closed in all the pictures *blames photographer*).

I was about 2years old when I went to my first wedding. I was supposed to walk down the aisle and I made it halfway. Then I left to sit by my cousin, tripped, and started crying in the middle of the wedding. I bet the bride hasn't forgotten about me yet.

Quite a few years ago my cousin had his reception on my birthday. I was young, so I was pretty miffed that he was getting all the attention.
Have fun!
